A student who holds student pass under TC Education Centre is deemed to be a Foreign Student of TC Education Centre
IELTS Preparatory Course for Level 4.5 / Level 5.0 / Level 5.5
Aims and Objectives
To help foreign students prepare for the IELTS examinations.
Admission Requirements
1) At least 16 years old
2) For Level 4.5 TOEFL 450 (133 computer based with TWE2.5) / GCE 'O' C6 or equivalent
For Level 5.0 TOEFL 500 (173 computer based with TWE3.0) / GCE 'O' C5 or equivalent
For Level 5.5 TOEFL 525 (213 computer based with TWE4.0) / GCE 'O' B4 or equivalent
Course Contents
Vocabulary and Grammar
· Understanding linguistic theory and practice
· Applying concepts in using correct and accurate English
Speaking and Listening
· Participating in discussions
· Making presentations
· Taking notes
· Developing effective listening skills
Reading
· Identifying and interpreting key ideas in texts
· Completing cloze passages and answering comprehension quesitons
Writing
· Organising and planning writing tasks
· Interpreting and describing visual stimuli such as graphs, tables and charts
· Exploring and developing writing styles

Level 4.5 3 months x 25 hours / week
Level 5.0 3 mohths x 25 hours / week
Level 5.5 3 months x 25 hours / week

Tuition Fee Levels 4.5 - 5.5 S$3000 for entire course and Level 6.0 S$1000 for entire course
